Why not decide to marry on a ‘Wonderful’ Wednesday at Pauntley Court?!
You would be able to arrive from 9 am on your Wedding Day and enjoy time to get ready in our Wedding Suite, Elinor Fettiplace or the stunning 15th Century Dovecote.
You and your partner and 30 guests for your wedding day with exclusive access to the main house and all the formal gardens and grounds for one day. Then after your guests leave in the early evening; you have the luxury of a one-night stay in our romantic wing of the main house called Elinor Fettiplace. This luxurious and cosy wing is a split level private suite, with access to your own kitchen and sitting room. The huge double bedroom with a super king bed, and bathroom with large bath and walk in shower, both have stunning views over the quince tree orchard and across the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside beyond.
On your Wedding Day, your guests can arrive at the venue from midday and can mingle in the gardens before your ceremony, outside on the formal lawns in one of our beautiful ceremony spaces, each with their own individual atmosphere. There is also the church just next door.
Afterwards you and your guests can wander through the magical garden rooms with a glass of fizz in hand or perhaps gather on The Terrace or outside the Flower Room. With gentle background music wafting through the trees, the sounds of laughter of your family and friends playing croquet afterwards or perhaps having a game of boules on our petanque court, create a ‘wonderful’ midweek melange of fun and happiness. An atmospheric and visual treat for your wedding photos and memories for life…all encapsulated in one wonderful Wednesday!
A Wedding Breakfast in the stretch tent or under the hornbeam arches or even perhaps in the elegant light-filled Ballroom in the main house, before your first dance.
Your guests can then depart at their leisure right up until 9pm, leaving you to relax in the romantic and luxurious Elinor Fettiplace wing of the house.
The next morning enjoy a fantastic local produce hamper for breakfast, before heading off on your honeymoon!
As part of this exclusive one-day ‘Wonderful’ Wednesday package, you will have the following;
- Exclusive use of the Pauntley Court estate from 9 am on Wednesday until 11 am on Thursday
- Use of the Stretch Tent
- Access to all areas of the estate gardens for your photos
- Full use of the ground floor of the main house
- Your chosen caterers can use the main house kitchen
- Holly, Rebecca or Jilly as your wedding coordinator - to help you plan your day and help make it run smoothly for you on the day.
- 3 hours of Rachel our Housekeeper’s time to help support you in managing the house on the day.
- Use of our croquet lawn and boules court.
- A Sonos system for the ballroom/ pa sound system for the flower room and under the stretch tent
