Your Ceremony

Church Ceremonies

We are lucky enough to offer the exquisite Norman Church, St John the Evangelist, for your traditional church ceremony, where Mark & Melissa (owners of Pauntley Court) were married 24 years ago. Just a stone’s throw from the Main House, this beautiful 800-year-old building overlooks the Leadon Valley, which can be accessed from a romantic stroll through a private gate in the gardens.

Up to 100 of your friends and family can join you for your church ceremony. If you are not part of the parish of Pauntley, you can still marry here by attending the church once a month for six months leading up to your wedding day. There are also two nearby churches, Redmarley and Dymock.

Civil Ceremonies

We are over the moon to have our Civil Wedding Ceremony License for up to 32 guests in our Ballroom. For more information, get in touch.

The Ballroom has space for up to 32 guests for a humanist ceremony or blessing, while the gardens, woodlands and lake offer a wildly romantic setting for an outdoor ceremony option. What could be more wonderful than saying, ‘I will’ surrounded by beautiful blooms, endless blue skies and a picturesque backdrop?

“I am so grateful for all your hard work hosting us, the whole experience made our wedding day truly special. I will never forget waking up at Pauntley on the day of the wedding, it was so magical.

You went out of your way to make sure everything was perfect for us, right down to the finishing touches - flowers, breakfast and of course, hedgehog bread! - everything was immaculate. Staying at Pauntley was more than the icing on the cake! All the family loved their stay, and everyone commented on how beautiful the house was.”
