OUR FAMILY HOME FOR YOU
Pauntley Court is painted a reddish earth colour, reflecting the iron-rich soil of the area, and curled around a central courtyard, it glows rosily in the evening sun, surrounded by munching cows and sheep, its only neighbours, The Dovecote and the Norman Church.
Mark and Melissa, the current owners, were married at Pauntley in 1996 and their 3 children were christened in the church. They took over the running of the estate from Melissa's mother in 2008 and have continued the restoration each year culminating in launching as a wedding venue. During the last 10 years they have been running the main house as a bed and breakfast, along with the wing, Elinor Fettiplace and The Dovecote as holiday rentals. Mark and Melissa and Wilma opposite, are very excited to be welcoming you to this romantic and beautiful place.
The formal gardens were created by Melissa’s mother Christine Skelding who has lived at Pauntley since 1990.
Pauntley Court dates back to the 1350s with an early 18th century addition. Pauntley Court can accommodate up to 24 family and friends to help you celebrate in this delightful rural setting. The main house sleeps up to 18, Elinor Fettiplace (the wing of the main house) sleeping a further 2 and then 4 more staying in The Dovecote.
