if you asked us why we love weddings at Pauntley Court, it is because we become part of the footprint for a couples story.

However, if you were to ask us on a deeper level... We'd say, its because Pauntley Court has a way of slowing time. It is more than a backdrop for a single day. It is a home for unhurried celebrations, a place where couples and their guests can gather, reconnect, and savour every moment together. The house, the gardens, and the surrounding landscape invite you to stay awhile, to settle in, and to make the space your own.

Many stories have passed through here, and each wedding adds another layer of laughter echoing through the rooms, candlelight at dinner, music drifting across the lawns. We believe there is something deeply special about celebrating your marriage in a place that has stood the test of time, offering both grounding and grace.

A wedding weekend at Pauntley is intentionally unhurried. There is space for welcome drinks the night before, long conversations over breakfast, and moments of stillness in between the celebrations. Pauntley Court is absolutely a hidden gem. Throughout our wedding preparation from venue viewing to our big day, Pauntley Court (in particular, Melissa, Rachel and Holly) provided consistent support and guidance. On our big day, Pauntley Court provided amazing indoor and outdoor locations for us to have ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and first dance. We have received a lot of compliments from our families and guests about Pauntley Court. Everyone was very delighted to this country house wedding venue and the warmness from the Pauntley Court team. In particular, we had our big day in the beginning of summer - Pauntley Court perfectly matched to the summer vibe. After the wedding, we have already been thinking about when we visit Pauntley again for our anniversary!
